Opening Notes
-----------------

Things have been running full tilt around here. Not only have I been working on a number of additions to Cavies Galore, I've also had to deal with a full time summer job, and I just started Drivers Education. I published the new Cavy Forums policy, which I must thank all the moderators for helping finish. I also found out that my host decided out of the goodness of their hearts to edit their form script so that I would not be able to use it with the way I've set up my mail preferences. To fix their "improvement" I ended up spending half a day off from work installing a new form script and changing all the form variables on the five forms at Cavies Galore. Okay, okay, I'll stop ranting. ;)

A while back, Lyn, commonly known as Lynx on the Cavy Forums, interviewed me with hopes of learning a bit more about the guy behind the site. After weeks of postponement I finally have the nerve to announce the interview was completed and is now on the web.

2. Cavy of the Month

I would like to congratulate Milkdud for becoming the Cavy of the Month. A cavy of the month has their picture featured with a small biography about them. Their picture is also used as the logo for the Cavy Forums. Milkdud officially became the Cavy of the Month in late July, but since she's the first cavy of the month, she gets the honor of some extra days of glory.
