Opening Notes
-----------------
This month has been fairly quiet, but I've got a few ideas that I'm starting to work on. I've noticed that some members of the Guinea Pig Daily Digest ( http://w3.ing.unico.it/mailman/listinfo/gpigs ) have published cavy songs. If you have a cavy song and you want it published on Cavies Galore, please drop me an e-mail.

Special Chat Session
-----------------
Join us June 16 at 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM, PST, for two special chat sessions with Wanda Curran.
Wanda Curran is a writer, a breeder, and a 4-H supporter. Wanda first learned about cavies when her daughter joined a local 4-H club. She has been involved with 4-H for over 12 years, written two cavy books, and judges local cavy shows. Find out more: http://www.caviesgalore.com/schat/

Cavy Sayings
-----------------
I've recently cleaned out my box of cavy sayings, looking for some truly inspirational ones to add to Cavies Galore. If you visit the Cavy Sayings page ( http://www.caviesgalore.com/sayings/ ) you will find 17 new sayings added, feel free to submit your own. Two sayings that I particularly enjoyed were: "You know you're a cavy slave when instead of eating regularly, you grip your food in mittens and take minuscule bites, chewing furiously." by Pheonix, and "You know you're a cavy slave when you can imitate their squeak perfectly." by Kat. Congratulations Pheonix and Kat, great sayings, I could almost relate to them. :)

Interactive Stories
-----------------
Chuck recently submitted an interactive story, The Monster ( http://www.caviesgalore.com/stories/story1/ ). I've been meaning to plow through my box of stories, songs, and poems, and I will, honestly, well, eventually, but this interactive story caught my eye. Congratulations Chuck, great story! An interactive cavy story allows the visitor to enter in their own variables for the story. You can write an interactive story too, just have the story open ended so visitors can enter in their own information, I will put in the coding needed to make it work.

A Spell Checker for the Cavy Forums
-----------------
Early this month I added a spell checker to the Cavy Forums ( http://www.caviesgalore.com/cgi-bin/Ultimate.cgi ). The spell checker is a great tool and I hope you give it a try. If you don't like the on line spell checker, but have trouble spelling, check out this small spell checker for PCs, http://clever.net/quinion/spell/spell.htm I use it all the time and it works with any text you have, no matter what program it's in.

Cavy Poll
-----------------
I've been slacking a bit on the Cavy Poll, but it has just been updated. I'm in need of poll suggestions, so send them in and they'll get top priority.
