Plopedy Plop went her belly as she wadled to her dish
there was more than food in her tummy thats what made it squish
then one night I pet her head
then I snuggled into bed

in the morning mom woke me amazed
and told me that there was more than one cavie in her cage
there were cute little guinea pigs looking at me
then I found out she had had three
all of them fuzzy and black

and all of them looking for a tasty snack
their momma was glad they were out of her tummy
and then she gave them something yummy
all of the little cavies explored the cage
the mom kept a close gauge

they kept on growing and are growing still
watching them has been a thrill
I'll be sad when they part
it will just break my heart
I will woe
but I Know they have to go
